about us
At TC Shock Electric, we're a family-owned business that enjoys getting to know the people we work with. Here's a bit about our lead electrician, Tyeler:
I always knew I wanted to pursue a trade that allowed me to both engage my mind and body. As a volunteer in the sound booth at church for many years, I grew appreciative of the way the tech worked, putting the pieces together, and working through issues that came up.
My wife would say, “Making things come to life fills his soul.” The fact is, I like it. I like it a lot. There’s something about installing the wiring for a hot tub installation and knowing it’s ultimately going to support a family in resting, connecting, and creating joyous memories. Even a simple outlet installation can add efficiency to a work day and delicious meals on the dinner table.
I started my apprenticeship with the IEC Atlanta and earned my journeyman certification after 4 years of training with various companies, including Jim Luca Electric, EC Electric, and most recently with GSCI. With more than 8 years of experience, I began supporting families with their electrical needs, mid-2020 and quickly discovered a passion for the 1:1 relationships I was able to build with families.
Electricity is a major part of our daily lives and, through TC Shock Electric, I have the honor of supporting families making the most of it. It’s more than a job, it’s a passion, my career, and an opportunity for me to deliver a positive, shocking experience to all I work with.
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are a few answers to our most commonly asked questions.
How much will this electrical repair cost?
The cost is determined based on which electrical repair service is needed and pre-existing conditions. If you call us today to schedule an appointment, we can have one of our professional team members come to your home or business to give you an up-front, flat-rate price. If you choose to do business with us, our residential electrical team will be honest with you and keep you up to date and informed throughout the whole process.
Why aren't my electrical outlets working?
If your electrical outlet isn’t working, it could be from a loose connection, poor installation, or a tripped circuit breaker. It’s possible to fix a loose connection and a bad installation. However, if you are not experienced with electrical work, we advise you to call a professional residential technician for safety reasons.
Can I fix it myself?
Our team typically recommends that you hire a professional when it comes to electrical work for a number of reasons, but the most important one is your safety. Your safety should always be put first and if you don’t know what you’re doing, it can be dangerous. Our team is certified and we have the knowledge and equipment to get the job done accurately the first time. We will also get it done in a timely manner.
